Product Description:
A Steel Profile Ridge Flashing
(also known as a steel ridge cap) is an essential architectural structural
flashing component designed to cover and seal the apex or peak junction where
two opposing sloped metal roofing sheets meet. Manufactured from high-tensile
cold-rolled galvanized (GI) or Galvalume (Alu-Zinc) steel coils, it is
roll-formed or press-bent into angular or contoured profiles to match the pitch
and profile of corrugated, trapezoidal, or tile-look roof panels.
Equipped with multi-layer protective coatings and durable paint finishes (PPGI/PPGL), steel ridge flashings serve as the primary defensive barrier against water penetration, wind uplift, wind-driven rain, debris, and vermin entry at the highest point of a building's roof structure.
